Meet the Team

Ezra has a therapy style that is relationally based, radically accepting, and deeply grounded in centering clients’ autonomy and expertise in their own lives. They have previously worked in a diverse range of settings with adolescents and adults, primarily in community mental health. They are passionate about delivering trauma-informed services informed by anti-oppression values, and hope to support queer, trans and gender non-conforming people across the lifespan. Ezra can also be found in the garden, reading at home with their mutt, or sharing a meal with loved ones.

Jack believes that, just as in good physical therapy in which the whole body is considered for optimal functioning, in psychotherapy, the whole psyche – the whole you – is gently and slowly brought out and given space (exercised, really) by the client and clinician working together. Jack believes that optimal functioning comes when we feel free to be who we are. That means learning to shed the unhelpful patterns and thinking that lead us to reject parts of ourselves that instead need understanding, support, light and reintegration for a more whole sense of self. This results in better functioning and greater happiness. When not working, Jack can be found taking long walks in the woods, playing hockey, or reading.
